I am a Member of Queensland Quilters and the fabric pictured is their challenge fabric for 2007.

The quilt size was set at 50cm * 70 cm.

I have called my quilt "Facing Challenges" as it was a real challenge for me to see any beauty in this fabric.

The opening of the exhibition in Redcliffe is on the 22nd May 07.

And this is the quilt!

This photo of a Dracena in my garden was the inspiration for a small quilt I made in a "Patterns in Nature" class with Jenny Bowker.
